Airport Transfers
  • London Gateways A Trafalgar bonus transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your Costsaver tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
  • Important Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
  • You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
  • Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
  • Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
  • Heathrow Express operates between 05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
  • In the event of unforeseen events (Road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
  • Why not upgrade to a Hotelink transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London hotel? (Please ask your travel agent of the additional upgrade price per person when booking)
  • European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.

Day 5PlymouthToday we drive to nearby Cheddar Gorge to admire its rugged beauty. Then a stop at Wells, with its awe-inspiring Cathedral. We continue our journey through Thomas Hardy's Wessex and its rolling green hills, before reaching Plymouth, where orientation shows us the Hoe and Drake's Harbour. Day 6PlymouthThis morning we will have the opportunity to take a boat trip around the harbour before continuing to Marazion, where we see St. Michael's Mount. Then we continue north to the Atlantic coast of Cornwall and the artists' colony of St. Ives. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7CardiffWe drive through the 'scrumpy' county of Somerset and on to Bristol to see Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge on our orientation tour of this fine city. Finally, across the Severn Bridge into Wales and our hotel in Cardiff. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)Hotel: Premier Travel Inn
Day 8WaterfordOrientation of the capital of Wales shows us the Castle and Millennium Stadium Cardiff Arms Park. Next we drive through South Wales via Carmarthen to Fishguard, where we board our ferry across the Irish Sea to Rosslare. Day 9WatervilleAfter breakfast we drive via Cork, stopping to visit Blarney Castle with a chance to acquire the 'gift of the gab'. Day 13ChesterWe head off to Dublin Bay where we board our ferry and cruise to Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey. Enjoy the scenery of the North Wales coastline as we skirt Snowdonia National Park. Day 14EdinburghToday we drive through the beautiful Lake District, the magnificent scenery which inspired the great poet William Wordsworth, who lived and worked in Grasmere. Day 15EdinburghOur morning sightseeing tour shows us Princes Street, the Royal Mile and views of the castle. Then time to perhaps visit Holyrood House or the Grass Market. This evening, you have the option of a night out with Highland dancing, bagpipes and haggis. (Full Breakfast)
Day 16NewtonmoreToday's journey takes us towards the Fife Coast to see St. Andrews, home of the famous Golf Course and the university which Prince William attended recently. Day 17GlasgowAfter breakfast this morning we drive via Inverness and along the shores of Loch Ness passing Ben Nevis Britain's highest mountain. Then on to notorious Glencoe, where the Macdonalds met their doom at the hands of the Campbells. Finally, we continue to Loch Lomond's bonnie banks before reaching our hotel near Glasgow. Day 18LeedsOrientation in Glasgow shows us the Cathedral and George Square.
