DAY 1: BRISBANE-LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK

You will be met on arrival at Brisbane Airport by your driver (pick-up can also be organized from city hotels and railway station) and travel to one of the world's great subtropical rainforests- World Heritage Lamington National Park. On arrival at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, explore the magnificent rainforest and its many attractions. Walk through the treetops on the famous Tree-Top Walk and inspect the extensive display of plants and flowers in the nearby botanical gardens. Overnight: O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat for 2 nights

DAY 2: LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK

Start the day with O'Reilly's famous birdwalk (optional) and meet the hundreds of birds that visit to feed around the guesthouse. At breakfast, a rainforest guide will invite you to participate in the day's guided activities with full or half-day guided walks and a 4WD bus trip to a scenic lookout. Tonight, choose between a night tour or an audiovisual presentation. (B)

DAY 3: LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK- FRASER ISLAND

Today, spend the early morning exploring the magnificent rainforest with O'Reilly's guides. After check-out, transfer to Brisbane to connect with your Tilt Train transfer to Kingfisher Bay. On arrival, explore the resort, swim in the heated pool, go bush walking or try fishing, sailing, canoeing or tennis. In the evening, join a ranger spotlighting for native animals, take in a slide show, or enjoy entertainment and the cocktail of the day (included) in the Maheno lounge. Overnight: Kingfisher Bay Resort for 2 nights (B)

DAY 4: KINGFISHER BAY-4WD TOURING

Join an early morning bird walk before breakfast. Relax in a modern 4WD coach while a ranger takes you to discover amazing pockets of rainforest growing in sand, crystal-clear fresh-water lakes, shipwrecks and colored sands. You'll drive along one of the world's most spectacular highways-75-Mile Beach-and learn the fascinating history of Fraser Island. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Back at the resort, stroll along the beach, watch the sun set over the sea, or sip champagne under a clear night sky. (B,L)

DAY 5: DEPART FRASER ISLAND

After breakfast, and depending upon your travel arrangements, you will depart the island for your onward journey or enjoy a morning at leisure at the resort. Transfer back to Brisbane is included. (B)
